The Munchkins!

Pictures of the kiddos! We are all doing well. Summer went by way to fast but the boys can't wait for Halloween. Emelyn is getting big. Rolling over both ways, and even trying to crawl. She is trying to grow up way to fast that is for sure. :)

Update on the Atkinson Family of 5!!

Hi All!!
Things are going really well. Emelyn has been a good sleeper and a good baby. She only wakes up once or twice a night which has been nice. The boys are still loving her up and we hope that never changes. She is starting to stay awake more and more during the day now, which has been nice. The boys love to talk to her.

The boys have been very busy already this summer. Nick played soccer, then both Nick and Evan are playing T-ball right now and after T-ball Nick will be back in soccer. They both seem to like T-ball, and Nick really likes soccer. I am working with Evan so that he is ready for preschool. We are practicing his writing, opposites, numbers, and beginning the reading process. He is doing great! We are working with Nick to make sure that he stays where he needs to be to start 1st grade in the fall. Can't believe he is in first already. He is for sure ready though and is right where he needs to be.

Jason has taken time off to spend it with the family, which has been fabulous!! We love having him home with us.

Atkinson Five

Emelyn Faith is HERE!!!

Emelyn Faith was born May 26th. 7lbs 9oz 20 inches long. Blue eyes and lots of dark brown hair.

I had a scheduled c-section for the 8th but I went into labor and they took her May 26th, which is Papa Predenkiewicz b-day too. She had to stay in the NICU for 7 days on antibiotics because they thought she may have an infection. She is doing great now. The boys love love her. Always ask to hold her. They love to call her Eme, which is so cute. The holding doesn't last long, they seem to get bored quickly. When she is crying they comfort her very well, and talk to her very sweet. Here are some pics of Miss Emelyn, the boys and a few family members with her. The only ones allowed to see her in the NICU were Jason and I, and the grandmas and grandpas due to the swine flu and all the illnesses going around.

We are having a............Girl!!!!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and everything looks great. The baby looks nice and healthy and the boys are so excited that we are having a girl!! They will have a little sister to protect. It is so cute I will try to put up pictures and she took video clips too!! She had hiccups almost all the way thru it and she tried to suck on her thumb. So cute!! We are excited to buy lots and lots of pink and purple, or.....at least I am. :)

She is about 10oz and her heart rate was 140. We scheduled my c-section for June 8th as of now. :)

December 08 Update

Nick is loving Kindergarten still, which is great. He is learning so much. He is starting to write sentences, and even reading some. We are very proud! Evan can't wait for school in the fall. He loves going to Nicks school and all the big kids say hi to him as we wait to pick Nick up.

We are very excited because this year we plan on taking the boys to Great Wolf Lodge for a Christmas present. They will love it!! They are quite the little daredevils now. We went sledding this last weekend Friday and Saturday. At first Nick was the only one going down alone and Ev wanted to sit in the car after the third time going down because he got snow in his face, but then on Saturday we talked him into going alone and he loved it!! Now they want to go all the time, so we really think they will love the water slides.

My semester is over this week, whooo!! I have a month off before going back and Nick has some time off too, which will be nice. Jason is doing great at work and has even ran training meetings.

The baby seems to be right were they need to be. The heart rate was 168. I am now a little over 3 months, and still having a bit of morning sickness. Hopefully that goes away soon so I can enjoy the pregnancy a bit more. The boys are saying they still want a sister, we will see if that ever changes.
