Update May 2007

Well it is the end of May already. Boy does time fly. We are all doing really well. Evan just had his 2nd birthday. I can't believe it. He is talking so much, and can already count to 10! Big Brother Nick reads him books and counts with him too. How awesome it would be to have a big brother. They are playing really well together, even though Nick thinks he is the boss at times. Sometimes we just sit back and listen to their conversations and it is kind of hard to hold back from laughing when Nick is telling Ev that if he doesn't eat he will sit in time out or not get and snacks. Nick has been a very good big brother over all, even if sometimes he does get bossy and play a bit rough. He is Evan's little protector. If another child pushes Ev of takes something away from him Nick will always be there to take it back or help him up. So cute. Hope that they always stay close as my sisters and I did growing up.

Nick is finishing up his first year of preschool this year. So far he absolutely loves school. Next year he has his last year of preschool, since we started him at 3 and the following year is kindergarten. I can't believe he is 4 next month. I never realized how fast time flies by. Nick is talking so much more and is now starting to talk back a bit which is kind of a bummer. We are working on that though. He is still our terrific little boy just needs to know what he can and can't get away with I guess.

Jason and I are doing really well. This summer is a busy one with lots and lots of weddings, birthdays, and open houses. We are trying to go camping a bit more this year since we did not get to go much last year. We will see if we have any weekends free.

Nick is playing T-ball again this year, which he is so so excited about since last year he did get a gold medal. So every Saturday in June we have his games in the morning. He also seems to like soccer now, we might have to try that one year.
