October- What a busy month

Well things have been super busy lately. We are now actively looking for a new preschool for Nick because his will be closing in Dec. maybe earlier depending on how many children stay until the end. I feel so bad for him. He has adjusted so well. Every morning, when it is a school day of course, I say are you ready to go to school, and he says yep. It is so cute. Then he contuinues to talk about how Evan is going to come home and take a nap. He recognizes the school and everything. Hopefully once we get a new school he will love that one too. This one went from 22 down to 7 in about a week and a half, yikes!! The one that we are looking into will be 3 days a week instead of 2, but we think he will do just fine with that since it is for only 2.5 hrs a day. Anyways, Nick is doing great. He is talking more and more everyday and teaching his brother new things all the time.

Evan is doing great. He loves to take Nick to school. It has been both good for Nick to get away and be with other adults and children and for Evan and I to have some time together. We usually have time to play for a half hr and then Evan takes his nap before we get brother. Evan has been repeating almost all of what Nick says. His new words right now are "Nick", " Bryce" (a little boy that I watch a few days a week), " Did it", "duck", "bananna". There are so many I can't even think of all of them. Sometimes I am so shocked that he said something that I turn around and have him repeat it. Nice to have a big brother like Nick. Nick is very protective of Ev. Anytime any other children take something away from him or are mean to him Nick takes the toy and gives it back or yells at the kid. So cute that Ev has a built in brother bodygaurd. Sometimes Nick gets a bit carried away but not too often.

Nick has been killing bugs lately. He used to be afraid of them but now he actually gets a napkin and squishes it. Maybe he will be able to protect momma from those spiders after all. ;) Nick also now says all of his friends names and says that he misses them and wants to see them. He is also saying Grandma and grandpa all of the time now, when he wouldnt used to do that. He loves his grandmas, grandpas, aunts,uncles, and friends.

We are preparing for Halloween. Nick wants to be Blues Clues and only Blues clues. So I finally found one on ebay, and he looks so so cute. Evan we are still trying to decide what we want him to be. We are so excited this year for Nick and Evan to be able to go together. We have a childrens halloween party on saturday the 28th along with an adult one later that night. We are a little behind this year on decorating so we better get busy. :) Jason and I have not decided what we are going to be this year either. Grandma and Grandpa A are coming out to pass out candy again this year so we can both go with Nick and Ev. Can't wait to carve pumpkins this year. We still have to get them though...hmm.
